The “bug” with retargeting in UE 4.14 not working correctly is, actually, a new feature. You have to make an additional step in retargeting (turn on Skeleton Preview) so everything works correctly. Here’s how:
This 3 videos will show you how to create a skeleton for a mech model in MayaLT, skin the model to this skeleton, rig everything in Motionbuilder and retarget Movement Animset Pro to the mech. The end result – a mech with all movement animations. All in one hour.
What you need:
– a 3d model of a 2 legged mech or creature
